Into My World

Into My World

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

You're both the sun and rain...

"

Amongst the trees standing still,
I found you as the fruitful one
Amidst the flock above me here,
I saw you as an angel, dear

Within the feelings I've to protect,
the one for you is like a sun
Between us two, there's lot of pain
that I have chosen to bear

But what is pain if love's the prize,
that rain into my world?
The rain is sun, and sun is rain
which I always want to hold...

relationships have their share of rain---and pain....but in the end if we are still holding each other, it is worth it to bear, the prize makes the sun shine through the rain.
first line i might omit "that"...

really like the feel of this piece.

Sun and rain both are needed for things to grow, metaphorically and literally.
Lovely thoughts here Dhaye

A very thought provoking poem, Dhaye. This poem speaks of a jumbled but determined relationship and the endurance of love. Very memorable.

Pain is life's lessons and teach us and allow us to grow as an individual.
love is the greats risk we can take, but offers the sweetest rewards.

My pleasure young lady.
"The rain is sun and the sun is rain" -- i love this..it's like your saying: you are my pain, you are my joy. Well, could be true because sometimes the person whom we love most is also the one who could give us so much pain.
