Pray For The World

Pray For The World

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

I hear the distant cries...

~~¤~~

I heard your cry Oh, Paris
From the hundred of bodies that fell on your ground
I heard the sobbing of your neighbors
I saw the tears of all the eyes watching you
You were trying to  move on from the tragic Charlie Hebdo Attack
But here you are again-
Broken and bruised
And my heart is breaking
My tears are rolling down my face
As I utter  a thousand why's

But...

I still hear the weeping from afar-
Palestine and Syria are still mourning for the death of their children,
India Heat Wave that killed more than two thousand,
The hundreds of migrants killed in sinking ship in the Mediterranean Sea,
The TransAsia Airways Flight 235 Crash in Taiwan,
The Germanwings Flight 9525 Crash into the French Alps,
The Earthquake in Nepal,
The Amtrak Train Derail in Philadelphia,
The Warehouse Explosion that killed a hundred in China,
The Reporter and Cameraman Killed live on TV,
The Refugee crisis,
The Hajj Pilgrimage Tragedy near Mecca
The series of calamities and tragedies in different parts of my dear Philippines-
The families of thousands of dead people are still in agony
These tragedies around the world
Gave those places the deepest cuts upon the bellies of the mothers
Wounds that connect to the hearts
And create scars that might be fresh until now

The world is in pain
And here are my tears again

I am praying for the world
Can we listen to those cries and open our hearts?

Let us  pray for you,  dear Paris
And for other places wich are still in misery

Let us pray for the world.

World is already in the phase of 3rd world war, we might decline this.. It happened in India, repeated in Pakistan, spread towards The UK and the USA... Now its more powerful and painful spreading towards France and Belgium. Its not their loss, its us who made our mind set and we are pretty comfortable with what is happening around. I plea do not tolerate any more injustice fight back and teach them we are unite across the world..

Dhaye this was very strong message from your poem.

The world sadly is in such a disgrace, sick and suffering each and every single day. Humanity is crumbling, hatred and greed and sickness is swarming the world faster than the speed of light. Sadly it will take more than prayers to heal this world. But a lovely passionate, sincere beautiful poem from someone in this vast world who does actually care. Bless you, sweetheart. We need more human beings like you on this planet. To make it better and more loving in general.

This could be mother nature speaking in her distress. The poem, the way you have written it makes a huge impact. You are right, many places are suffering so we should be careful to focus on only a few.

Thanks for spending your time in my poem, GA Astri.
The world seems to be in mourn after that great atrocities and acts of violence perpetrated against humanity and senseless violence . A wish for Utopia is such a fragile dreams. Such repeated incidents will have future implications .

Hi, Neil! Thanks for reading and sharing your insights.
I agree dear Friend.
"Let us pray for you, dear Paris
And for other places wich are still in misery
Let us pray for the world."
Need complete world to stop. Re-think place and world. Begin anew again with concern, kindness and love. What have we left for the children of our world? A powerful and needed poem.

This is both beautiful and important. It really shows that it is needed that we keep Paris in our thoughts and prayers, but it is also important to not forget the other tragedies that have happened recently. It seems like this happens a lot; like we move from tragedy to tragedy and forget about those whose lives have been changed forever by the events that we no longer hear about.
Thanks for the wonderful poem.

Thank you for the kind words, RAD.
Hello, all tragic events that you mentioned is but a fraction of all
Else that's been happening around the world . Sad, and scary if we think about what would be left for all the Toddlers of the world
When they get to be our age, yes Praying is the best that we can
do, and there are also the least than we can contribute, and we all should be doing it everyday.

Powerful'
Maraming Salamat.

Thank you for sharing your insights.
There is pain and suffering in every corner of a world that is torn apart by acts of hate, and division. We may help with compassion and mercy, but most of all with truth, and love. We are different, and these differences shall always be a part of life. We cannot mandate that all believe as we believe; the customs are varied, the reasons even more so. Let us unite in the brotherhood of man and strive to understand one another for we are, for who our brothers and sisters are.
Your words are thought provoking and stir the soul!

Thank you, Shiela.
Indeed this is the time for the world to unite in prayers. And perhaps, it is time for the world leaders to devise concrete plan to end or to prevent this kind of madness. Thank you dhaye for penning this piece. It opens our eyes to the various relevant issues that need to be addressed.
