ResolutionA Poem by Helen Woodward
PRELUDE; Words can be wonderful Devastatingly cruel Unmanaged and uncontrolled Written/stated without thought Out of hatred and vengeful malice At times mere words...mine and others Leave me cold
I said...you said...we said No solution Just words hurting and hanging In mid air Catching glimpses of salty tears
Nothing has changed in aeons Constant prattle removes all doubt That may have formed in secret auras Around us... Removing the doubt in honour of truth Creates positive fall out MEDITATION;
I have closed my mind to the thickest rumour The slightest innuendo of horror To candied promises To close encounters pending All past dishonourable pledges And all that has made my life miserable.
