Guilty Pleasure

Guilty Pleasure

A Poem by Crowley
"

It comes to this....

"

Eventually almost everyone loses their taste for killing

For those who do not, it is usually because they never killed in the first place

And here we are, long in the tooth and squared for battle

And you wore a sun dress so sheer, the shadow undulations have me retreating a step

The look in your eye isn’t hatred, but that of mutual respect

Admiration left the room back in Munich, over wine and cheese

Another killer had caught your eye, but experience is on my side, the just side

You lunge and I parry, unsure if you are really ready for the mercy

I stepped to your right, a dagger stroke across the hip, the curves that once hypnotized

The wince, your wince, barely visible, the hiss from your lips even fainter

You are no match for me in this, but you steel those thighs and growl

Your thrust was straight but weak, I let it slide, it found my heart, bigger than necessary

We both knew that it would end this way, that die was cast at the beginning of time

Your smile turned to sorrow in the time it takes to birth an original thought

Your thought is one that will not be filed away, it will play in a continuous loop

The movie of my demise will be your guilty pleasure, when your ship has moved on

You took me there and I was a voyeur.Your last line is a killer line. How unkind that her guilty pleasure should be your demise. I can think of much better guilty pleasures. Great write Crowley.
All good wishes

I kinda had a feeling I had been hacked.. thank goodness it was you sir... :)
oh i did like the taste of this, oh yes... yes i did! Does this make the bunny sound a bit perverse? It is nice when you reach that point when the final slice isn't worth the price. When the scars are so plentiful one more doesn't even sting that much anymore. Crossing swords with the Crowley hmm I think I'd rather just have another drink, I suppose you did too. This line is a perfect action sequence....Your smile turned to sorrow in the time it takes to birth an original thought... boom line!
