Reconciliation

Reconciliation

A Poem by Tony Hwilka
"

I think this is the best avenue to take to get out of depression or loneliness and a happier life.

"

Come...

          let me love you

let me change

          those doubting eyes

to golden quartz of April

Let me mold your rebellion

          to a soft August shine

Come...

          I will hold you gently

I will soothe

          you spiral of loneliness

and whisper away

          embers of time

Come...

          we will listen carefully

to the faint echo

          of ocean waves.

We will dance and glisten

          as a candle's flame

in harmony

          we will be forever young

Beautiful Tony! The imagery vivid and alive in this, almost jumping from the page. Gorgeous stanza's throughout this very well written poem!
