Drink Her

Drink Her

A Poem by Muse

Fair Goddess
hands stretched out
limbs wide open
honeysuckle vines
drink her

Crystalline glass
she'll fill it full
the intoxication
quenching a thirst
drink her

Fair Woman
a tree of life
dripping with rain
mouth wide open
drink her

Coil with her
vessel of breath
drunkenness
aperture open
drink her

To drink of life is to imbibe in the good with the bad - dripping with rain, when the earth is parched and one needs to be rejuvenated. To spend enough time to soak it all in, leaves one tired, almost drunken with the experience but it is then we are able to partake of the fullness of living - we must be totally spent out to fully appreciate the value of that which is so freely given!
Full of sensuality and LIFE!!

I like the primal element of this, I had such an experience with my last 'love'. The kind of attraction that broke all barriers and expectations.

incredible words, loved the second and third stanzas the most, sensual and intoxicating in the way it reads, heavy and full of desire, great job

Your choice of words are excellent. Smooth flowing piece. I like this poem alot. Don't know why but this poem reminds me of a song called "Love between a boy and girl " by The temprees

I feel the erotic magic of nature and plentiful Mother Earth coming through in simple but exquisite lay written poem.

Deeply sensual and tenderly written. Lovely writing!

passionately personal in its elaborate ecstacy---

"aperture open/ drink her"

the real sensuality is to quench each other's thirst, to drink each other in.

the tree of carnal knowledge...

nice poem
