I used to lead on

I used to be a tease

I had no feelings for others

I used to wear my heart shaped glasses

As a disguise

No on could see who I was

Except for on guy.

 

He saw right through those heart shaped glasses

Saw right through my ways

Didn't show any mercy

Took it his way.

 

I used to be the one in control

That's how it was with all the others

But he found a way to turn the tables

And create his own fables.

 

I didn't even know what was happening

Caught up in everything

Couldn't tell I was slipping...

My heart shaped glasses were slipping

 

My guard fell

He showed me hell

I saw the world with out my disguise

The pain I felt was my reprise

 

He was the first person I came alive for

Everyone else I faked a disguise for

He didn't seem to care however

I suppose it was karma for the pain I caused the others

I suppose I'm sorry for all I've done

I only did it beacuse I thought it to be fun.

Oooooooooooooooo I loved this! A lot of emotion is showed and the whole poem is entirely witty, and smart. The verses flow and rhyme, which improves it! Great job... once again!
