Dream Warrior

Dream Warrior

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

We need to take the time out and journal our dreams.

"

Dream Warrior

We look intently into the vast aura of our dream
Next filter through the very notion of love
A bright basking glow exposed to the given elements
In my dream I'm king for the day in a castle of stone
The servants are beckoning below my throne looking for bread
A mighty dragon has been summoned to challenge my authority
A fair maiden is in waiting in her room with soft pillows
The loud eruption outside makes me want to run and hide
An angry hobbit lost his way in the night sending a fright
Yes dreams in flight along that ancient pier filled with fish
We quiver through the dream this in order to lay silently amused
Call me the dream warrior as I write a poem about the cathedral light
A certain vested plight along the lines of light and love from above
A brightened rainbow to light the day upon the magical kingdom
The court jester makes the villagers laugh as he passes gas
We can take note of every single detail of our dream
Make light of the situation and embrace the memory in a journal
