Long May You Walk

Long May You Walk

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

Precious piece of places to walk.

Long May You Walk

A tear drop fell beneath my eye
The warmth of a hug in soft reply
Through a hole in the wall we could see...
There's magic in love in a land of make believe
Hearts will unfold through scorching scene
A mark on the wall was chalk from a heart so mean
Viscious fangs that bite hitting the scene
We run to and fro out of desperation between
Long may you walk through the leaves
Those colors of slight radiance filter through the debris
A walk of honest looking of a spacious scene
We fought back the pain with a smile to know all the while
Share love with those who are willing to explore
Sparkling radiance throughout the path you may tread
Kiss your loving neighbor as you visit their place
Passerby's can err escape the helping hand of it's sparkling radiance
