Remember Me

Remember Me

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

A love peace to you

"

blood stain on the carpet

ball & chain on my back

working to hard can give you a heart attack

smoke filled room with pillows

hovering over my head

black Christmas Balls

the hustle and bustle of pedestrians in their flight

forget the night for the day is far spent

wanderig through the solace

the madness of captivating smiles

Brillo pads out of box

the woods are near where the fox run

through pillars of thought provoking journey

waiting to be explored unto so much more

decorated foam pillows in slight arrangement

the soft cadence of sweet reflective personifications

the tasteless armory of the influx of disorder

soft pitter patter of sandal feet

relaxing in the memory of taunt motiff

remember me when things go dry

when all breaks loose on my caboose

remember the times we used to share

car wash experience with stereo blasting

pop fly in the eye from a frisbee

take me back to those good old days

basking in the past having so much fun with a hope that it would last

there is a hero in us all so stand up like ten feet tall

you don't have to be a no it all

remember me when the sound of the surf is all you hear

the breeze of the air through a direct reflection in the air

cover me with pillows decorated orb set in flight in the night

love is the mere essence of my inner existence shun its resistance

out of every circumstance learn t take part in the dance

plagued by Briar's Nursery Rhymes to help you cope

may have a long off battle in the shower with the soap on the rope

yet there is hope remember me when your love runs dry

as times go by so slowly I'll be by your side

I'm forever in your light

heavy hearts may turn away

but this much I pray

never fold never be afraid

love is meant to swoon a peace from her perfume

love has gained it also has lost humanities heavy cost

each of us is responsible to accept such love

carry on with a song then a smile in your heart

to impart goodness as in a heavenly epitaph

the parody of climatic assurance

take my hand from each new day that passes

away the cosmic debris in sullen apathy

love is the reassurance that you are forgiven

leave some second guessing yet look to me when all hope is lost

For I Am A Child Of God
