KojoA Poem by Mario VitaleA dog from SatanKojo
piercing eyes looking back at me long hanging viscous fangs that bite in my frequency nestled in the corner the Ovation guitar she was a timid creature when you get to know her explosive to others who have no conscience intact her breed to pit bul mixed with Dalmatian once she bits you she locks in will not let go that's is what happened years ago when a bum made his home on our porch in the morning there was chard human remains along the tapestry tried to tame her but to no avail she was the daughter of hell fed her from the big bag from Costco put a little can to mix her favorite treat with she was always nice to us so why the fuss after the incident we made an attempt to put her down but we kept things quiet as a coincidence another passing bum made there home but I awaoke them before the great alarm... she used to bark at the moon grew close to me in her last days perplexed but happy that we met so sorry now that she is gone there is a reason for everything © 2017 Mario Vitale |
