Between the 4th and the 14th

Between the 4th and the 14th

A Poem by Haim Kadman
"

A poem suitable for the 4th of July

"

Between the 4th and the 14th

The days pass

~like clouds,

swept in the wind.

~I hardly bade

June goodbye

~So sweet

and so consoling,

~compared to

hot tempered July,

~while August

knocks on my door.
