This Feeling Inexistent

This Feeling Inexistent

A Poem by Heather

Beauty is motion; just as love.

The stillness of this feeling inexistent;

I wished to fling myself out far past desertion

Upon the balcony, over its edge

Where I can lift my voice unto the moonlit sky

And break my soul in half, then die.

Living is death; my mind above

This struggle in a trite persistence.

The crushed earth beneath cries out some vague assertion -

A ghostly symphony, across the ledge

With a token of my final breath I give

And join them after death, then live.

Beautiful. Incredibly deep and thoughtful, it expresses the agony of life and death, and how intertwined they in fact are. Thank you, for an inspiring read.

For some reason that's such a beautiful thought to me. I'm glad it came through :)
Lovely piece of writing. Haunting yet very clear in its message. Very easy to read as well - it flows beautifully.
