The Dancer

The Dancer

A Poem by Heather

The flame flickered in a dance;

An enchanting rhythm hung around it.

Blown out by happenstance,

No music plays to keep light lit.

Brevity is the soul of wit, but in this case it's also the soul of mysticity. Nice flow, nice assonance, overall... well done!
