Me Lost

Me Lost

A Poem by SoHopeful

I thought I'd be saved by now.

My eyes run from anger with the steady pace of tears.
My heart, miles away, is entangled in the life I long for.
Stranded, my bottled up "help me" notes never made it to shore.
I've run so far from the pain, the regret, the shame
I can't find my way back to myself.
"SOS's" washed away in the sand with my little love, got lost before I realized it.
So I trace the hate in my heart that reflects the gray skies
hoping one day they turn blue before I too wash away.
Forgotten, I'm left here alone: Lost.

Relatable and intense. Really gives you a visual of the lost and forgotten hopes and dreams of a younger self. The anger and hate of a world that has denied that. Really good.

Click Your Heels Three Time, OH

Aghh..Its this habit I've tried to kick over and over again but keep relapsing. Every time I come back its stronger, more raw and I'm hooked. I can't sniff, roll or inhale hard enough until.. more..
