Ruins

Ruins

A Poem by Courtney Hough

My life is in ruins,
my heart whole, no more.
What should I do?
When two hold it?
But I no longer want to be here?
The darkness is calling.
singing so sweet.
while the earth mocks me,
at my defeat.
One I've know so long,
the other for but a moment.
And here I am gasping,
for my atonement.
For what shall I do,
once the gasping stops?

it is the hardest thing being torn between two loves, and if you make the mistake of choosing the wrong one you may have lost the other for good... It is a hard decision to make and to live with once it is made.. nice write thank you for sharing.
