THE DISCUSSION

THE DISCUSSION

A Poem by kollaboratyve
"

IN HOPE THAT WE STUDY WAR NO MORE

"

There was a discussion about combustion and how to blow up things

the contact of concussion of hard delivered dreams.

All be it, we went through the previsions of pretensions and brilliant inventions

unheard of until now an once a sacred cow.

Now back to the discussion about combustion and how to blow up things.

The composition that reach the sky carrying winds acid rain,

dispassionate ethnic cleansers of breast-less dispersant daughters,

screaming infants can no longer drink

only death their barter!

that long ,long, dream.

In the eyes of the earth I saw another dissuasion

one of  blood washed diamonds and a place called invasions

about impression's of repercussions and a discussion of how to blow up things

stretched out hands to the heavens til deliverance come

remove the landmarks of progression of all the ancients ones

There was a discussion about combustion and confessing evil schemes shield your eyes

oh! windows of thy soul

musings commotions steady yourself

the end is near

hearts of men faint-less in fears

There was a discussion about combustion of repercussion

from imprecations and allocations of allegations and invitations

pass from the hands of generations the torch of eternal destination

There was a discussion about combustion and how to blow up things

I have to totally agree with everyone...
I read this and had to come back to it. It is so thought provoking that it
takes you (mentally) to several places. The first for me was fear... I don't know why-yeah I do.
I wanted to come up with something to really state my feelings, and I couldn't.
I love reading literature like this, because so much is stirred in me.
I can say that I applaud you!
This was incredible...

Seems everyone is on the thought of this world we are living in today. So much confusion and uphevel. It is combustible. You expressed these thoughts very creatively and clearly in this write.

Definitely a witty piece drawing analogies to the thinking of the world today. The reasoning and conclusion is to destroy and conquer all obstacles. And with the advancements of today's sciences, it could one day be the end of us all.

You stirred up a lot of thoughts within me. Nice work.

In a perfect world we would study war no more, and hopefully one day the world will see that and try to achieve perfection rather than a way to destroy others with nuclear warfare, or any warfare for that matter. Your piece hits on a topic that a lot of people can understand, though still yet there are many who agree with the ideals of war. I personally do not believe in war. It saddens me to think that such brilliant minds as Einstein were used to create such devices as atom bombs and the such, rather than ways to improve humanity. The great thinkers are those funded by governments to create weapons of war...I feel I am going off on a tangent, forgive me. This piece makes me think of Einstein for some odd reason, and his theories being used to create weapons of mass destruction. 'There was a discussion about combustion and how to blow up things' Very well written.

I liked this, and liked the repetition of:

"discussion about combustion and how to blow up things."

I've always liked political pieces.

emotion and truth, so kudos I agree with some of the sentiment and here's the rub for me
"
IN HOPE THAT WE STUDY WAR NO MORE
"
We need to study it, to stop it happening.
"Power is power until you use it " Sun Tzu The art of War . . .
A lesson often forgotten !
You make the humanitarian case well and I like this poem for that.
Just be aware there are other arguments and therefore other allies on the road to peace. ;)

War, what is it good for , absolutely nothin' ...
d****t can't remember the band used to live near the guy as well ! LOL

This was too clever. You have arrived! Political and social commentary is totally your niche...it's so hard to pick a favorite line because everything flowed so well together. However....

"Now back to the discussion about combustion and how to blow up things.

Oh, yeah--you are ON. Rework spelling and some formatting issues (not the right-alignment thing; I like that), and you'll have here a brilliant work of art.

I love your use of rhymes in this piece... they give it a nice flow and impress it upon the mind of the reader/listener. I especially liked the lines about daughters and their babies and death... that is a really powerful, perhaps shocking image that gets the reader's attention and ties in well with the message as a whole.
