This is the other one which was published in my college magazine after 'Hame Kya Pata Tha'

 

Teri Yaad Mein…

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hum ne na jaane

kitne din guzare

kitne raat guzare

Teri yaad mein...

Lamha lamha ghat ta nahi

din guzarti nahi raat kat ti nahi

Teri yaad mein...

Hum ne khud ko sambhala bohot,

hum ne khud ko samjhaya bohot.

Magar ye dil,

na sambhalta hain,

na samajhta hain

Teri yaad mein...

Aankhon ne tujhe dhoonda bohot,

aankhon ne aasu bahaye bohot,

Teri yaad mein...

Teri yaad bhi sanam batakar nahi aati,

aati bhi hain to akela nahi chodti...

Saath jo teri yaad ka ho,

toh tham jata hain waqt,

ruk jaati hain duniya.

Ab toh bas ek hi saath hai hamara is duniya mein...

Teri yaad...

Teri yaad...

Aur bas teri yaad...

 

Author's Note

Most of you cannot understand what I have written. I have already started working on a translation of both my urdu/hindi poems. Please be patient with me.

it's beautiful...straight from the heart and so true..."moments without the one you love"...living with memories...nights and days alike...endless attempts to catch a glimpse...the tears shed...all alone in the shadows of memories and thoughts...the heart stops and so does time...

This one was really beautiful specially the closing lines

Aur bas teri yaad..."
Though I'm not very good with hindi but I will also try to write something in my mother tongue too, soon...very soon :)
