Your Girl

Your Girl

A Poem by Liz Alexander
"

A break up poem. Classic

"

You came to me
Asking me to be yours
But when problems arise
You’re the first one to leave
What happened the fact that you love me
Will you just abandon me
Like others before you
I thought you were different
My thoughts were wrong
You didn’t want me
I was just your play thing
Don’t you dare come back
Asking how are you my baby
You were the one to start
It I will be the one to end it
So no longer can you call me
Your girl

Amen!!

Oh those lines were perfection!

You were the one to start It
I will be the one to end it

Yes!! This was fab. Said it all in a nutshell... Bring it on and be done with it.. Nice way to stand up for what you feel..

I'm glad you stood up for yourself and ended it,
breaking up is hard to do but sometimes very necessary;

Well DonE!
