Dream Catcher

Sittin here

Looking at how my life has gone

The things I’ve left undone

Possibilities yet to come

And I feel tired

And watching now

The moon become the sun

Rabbits on the run

From the loaded gun

I close my eyes

Funny how the sands of time

Never stopped to make a beach

A place to find some peace

And rest my head

Runnin on these tracks I see

My stations all shut down

I’m running my self to ground

In the buffer zone

So maybe I’ll

Throw my life away

Throw my life away

Chasing stars

And maybe I’ll

Spend my lazy days

Spend my lazy days

Naming clouds

Seems now

Nothing is too big

To leave to another day

And walk away

Standing on my mountain

See my kingdom all around

So holy and divine

Sublime and so profound

And all I wanna do is tear it down

And now I see

I’ve thrown my life away

And spent my lazy days

Chasing clouds
