I love the sense of urgency in the Earth in the weeks before spring. You can almost feel the energy of new growth vibrating beneath the surface. Great haiku!

As you know, I'm not a huge fan of haikus... but then this has the message so beautifully encapsulated and you have taken the form for yourself. Moss, hmmmm, I have curious feelings about moss. I'm not quite sure whether I feel sorry for it or not.

Yes, spring! The setting free of the prisoners of winter. It is a jubulent setting free, full of vibrant color and glorous scents.

Perfect seasonal images, beautiful sounds. I love the word-play on 'cells'... giving this short poetic form even more depth in its brevity. You have truly mastered the art of Haiku.
