The Mountain

The erosion of
the mountain of my father
still stood tall and proud.

How you give us a glimpse of your world in movement, season by season. Age takes so much away, yet one can have a soul that stays strong.

Beautifully said C. Thank you.
i am so relating to this one, anne...

my dad is 96...he is a mountain to me still, in many ways...but he has crumbled in others---

he used to tower over me...reversed now...but there is still fire in his eyes, like a volcanic ash.
