Gangrene

Gangrene

A Poem by Allen Woodard
"

A short poem about facing the fact that everything rots away after time. At least in one form or another. This piece of work was also made into a song.

"

Gangrene

Time only exists because the world spins
So why do we think after we die our lives will end?
Consists of two things now consists of three
All together its one big machine

Live a little but I feel alot
Empathy is the only thing I've got
That doesn't rot.

Passify the one who knows
Plant an idea, watch the lies grow
I wish I had an answer for every burden on your mind
But hey man I'm just like you, I don't have the time.

Live a little die alot.
Empathy is all i've got
Live a little but I feel alot
Empathy is the only thing I've got left
That doesn't rot.

About
I've been writing fiction since I could pick up a pen. I don't have much to share about myself at this time. So I'll let my work speak for me. more..
