the glow-worm effect

the glow-worm effect

A Poem by Igor G. Balatsky

THE GLOW-WORM EFFECT

the glow-worm is

a tiny child of light

having stepped onto it

you'd extinguish the sun

in one of the galaxies

so as dozen of

planets would perish

and the wonder of life

would vanish from their faces

and millions of generations

wouldn't be born

so be careful please

while walking along this planet

that you have come to visit

just for a couple

of hours

I'll have to read up on my astronomy to figure out what the heck you are talking about, we do have a resident astronomer in the WC, maybe I'll ask him :)

No but I found the cadence light and errie and the message was life-affirming.

A very interesting concept. Perhaps to insects and the like, we are the monsters to be feared in their little worlds. Great poem.
