I fall apart and crash to the floor

Crying out everything, my heart, my soul

Then you came up

And held me in your arms

Holding me through the rain

You put my face

Against your chest

And whispered softly in my ear

"We are better than Romeo, or Juliet

Or Adam and Eve

Mary or Joseph

Edward or Bella

Rosalie or Emmett

Jasper or Alice

Or anyone else in the world

Or even in fantasies   

We are meant to be together

For the rest of our lives

And all of eternity 

I love you with all my heart

And i never want to let you go."

I looked up with tears in my eyes

We kissed in the rain

At the dead of night

We didn't care

About the people staring at us

I felt my heart fluttering to my throat.

I wrapped my arms around your neck

And never wanted to let go

From that moment on,

I knew you were the one.

I really like this poem, especially 'cos it doesn't rhyme (I can't rhyme for my life!) and the feeling of it is so strong. I think you really brought on something in this poem. You definately get your point across. I wouldn't say it's PERFECT (because no writing really is) and it needs a bit of work, but that doesn't stop me from thinking it's excellent. It's certainly better than my own poems. *cowers in shame of them*
