Of Forgotten Times

Of Forgotten Times

A Poem by Abigail Alliah
"

For Paul, Vinny, Alex, and everyone else who is subject to some form of change.

"

Oh of what we lose.

Oh how they lose us.

Oh what we do
of all things.

Ode to those long lost.
For some never forget.
Some never regret,
yet some never sing.

For warm airs rise.

Some words our hearts enthrall
And so i say to Paul, do good.
Thrive.

Days through, another breathes.
God knows
we all undo the stitches sewn
how we please.

Of the beauty we choose to follow.
Of respect that is undone.
You think you've won.
but maybe only

change is the prize.

This peom is so true and it's a lesson to learn. I enjoyed this write I haven't come across you before so you must be new. Some bad things that happen to us are best forgotten because things that reminds us of it keeps us behind in our life.
