Wolf

Wolf

A Poem by Call me Jane
"

this is aboutmy ex-boyfriend when he hurt me the first time

"

I should have kicked that puppy, scared him away

Before i got attached.

For he wasn't a puppy but a massive

wolf

with the thoght of blood in his head.

He ripped at my flesh,

tore into my tender muscles

'til i was a heap of blood and tears.

I proteced my puppy

my sweet sweet puppy from the vile things they said.

But my puppy still hurt me

And left me for dead

I knew he wanted to turn back but the wolf in him wouldn't let.

My puppy, My puppy

My Wolf, My Wolf

My blood, My tears

My spilt blood and tears.

My Puppy, My Love

My Friend.

very smart girl - saw the wolf before it was too late!

A nice analogy, a terrifying situation, a swell expression in writing it out. Also it's kind of sad that it ends in you still loving the animal that tore you to pieces...though usually unavoidable-- love is not a dissipating emotion but a set thing in ones self.
