Smile for me,

don’t let me see

the pain you hide.

Arms open wide

lean in for a hug

-I feel a tug,

my heart takes a risk

and the lips steal a kiss.

Fulfilled now; a foolish

wish.

Nicely written, the first few lines really grabbed me. I guess we never want to really see the pain of another but our fantasy is always to live happily ever after. A foolish yet honest wish indeed :)
