Life hurts,

It's okay

But okay is not enough

You are tough

But life is,

So rough

You've got to feel something

Don't just sit

And just stare

You've got to do something

Just dare,

To think,

Just go live life on the brink

Don't just go through the motions

Just live life

No regrets

Nor second thoughts

Just give your all

You won't fall,

Or slip through the cracks

You'll always have someone

When you bend,

You'll always have

That true friend,

And when you break

You just have to take

A look to the sky

Just say hi

To the God of the earth

He loves you

What He'll do

In your life

Is greater than anything

Just look to Him

To talk or to banter

And He'll always have the answer

Author's Note

The song "The Motions" by Mathew West inspired me to write this poem, the poem is pretty similar to the song and I have no intentions of making it my own so I tried to put my own little twist on it. Hope ya like it(:

i like it a lot. when you write about two negatives in english you use the word nor. like i dont like ketchup nor rude people. so you can change that "or" to nor. however, i love this!
