Hope For The Broken Hearted

Hope For The Broken Hearted

A Poem by J.Keyes
"

No matter how low you get, there is always hope. You just have to be willing to find it.

"

When one thing ends, another begins

We love we, he hate, we lust, we sin

Search for the truth in the highest places

There’s nobody else, just blank spaces

The world moves on and I’m stuck like a root to a tree

No one could’ve foreseen it, not even me

I wait for the answer to my daunting question

A simple word or a minor suggestion

And then in the blink of an eye

An answer falls right out of the sky

It makes me cry, jump with joy

I’m suddenly a child with a brand new toy

It says to me that my pain has started

But there is still hope for the broken hearted.

i love it! the rhymes are really great! when you say "the world moves on and I'm stuck like a root to a tree", I think you should revise it to "the world moves on, I'm stuck like roots to trees" so that it fits better. but other than that it's really good.
