Unconscious Love

Unconscious Love

A Poem by Jared

Last night,
we had to fight,
about our life,
I cant believe,
what I see,
you, trying to control me,
I wont deal with that,
because you hit me with a bat,
Why? Why would you do that?,
I thought you loved me,
I thought you cared for me,
but I guess that was a lie,
I guess you wanna be the cause of my last sigh,
Ive pushed my friends away,
because I thought youd stay,
I didnt care,
that I wasnt fair,
I am alone,
and I cant go home,
when I see you,
my heart jumps,
I love you,
and thats when I knew,
that I have to leave you,
I know you want to be happy,
and I dont mean to sound sappy,
but you need to know,
that I have to go,
while Im gone,
go get help,
Ill be back on my next dawn.

Whoops; probably should've read this before the Conscious Love. Well, I'll treat it like a prequel instead of the "first chapter". ;)

This piece, individual from Conscious Love, gives the reader a surreal account of what the victim (?) is going through mentally. This type of theme isn't quite uncommon, but it is entertaining telling nonetheless.

This sounds like maybe the first poem to the other of yours... where you're in the hospital. They could be companion pieces.
