A sad fantasy of mine

A sad fantasy of mine

A Poem by Jared
"

This poem is just a list of things I've always wanted in a relationship.

"

Every night,

I have an amazing thought in my head,

I think of you and I lying in bed,

Your arms around me making me feel safe,

I think of you running your fingers through my hair,

As I slowly fall asleep in your arms,

I think of your lips kissing my forehead,

And telling me that you'll always be there for me,

I think of the moon shining through the curtains,

And shining on your face so I can see your amazing features,

Sometimes I think of us walking on the street,

Holding hands and laughing,

Sometimes I think of us sitting in a coffee shop,

You drinking coffee and me just watching you look beautiful,

Sometimes I think of when we make love,

It's so intense our hearts beat loudly,

Sometimes I think of just kissing you,

In a public place so everyone can see the love we share,

I think of our problems that we have together,

Even though we do not express it we fear to walk out on the street near each other,

We fear for each other life, Instead of our own,

I think that our lives would be amazing if you would just let it,

And let all the thoughts I have be real; Instead of sad little fantasies of mine.

I expressed my fantasy differently, but want much of the same. Your imagery is beautiful.

"I think of the moon shining through the curtains,
And shining on your face so I can see your amazing features,"

That was a bit of a bump for me because it's redundant. I liked this overall, though.

Nothing sad. Beautiful and honest. The way love should be.

Aww, sweetie, I love it, and I hope you get it.

But if I ever see you making out with ANYBODY in public, I'm just gonna throw a biscuit at you and be all "Hey, Jared!" ^_^

...don't ask.
