Thought of spit but featured snot

Thought of spit but featured snot

A Poem by Jack...
"

the craziness just doesn't end

"

Thought of spit but featured snot

Checkered flags and dirty rags

ovals at the speed of pen

Engines roar the second floor

straight as any curve can bend

Laughing gas, or that you pass

fills the room with nostril noise

Pirate ships and salsa dips

spies are at the ready, poised

Poetry, the open sea

romantic, no I think this not

Sniffle, sneeze, if you please

thought of spit but featured snot

Screaming words, have you heard

it’s over man, it's almost done

Tell the truth, bring the proof

quintuplets only add up one

Take your glass, raise it fast

kool-aid on the tables served

Crossing guards disguise the bard

he hit the kids, he never swerved

Headlines bold, the story told

this the fate of evil twins

One was this and one was that

and one was something else again

Hummingbirds forget the words

twisted branches kill the leaves

Smoke filled clouds form the shrouds

flying deadly with disease

Round the track, no looking back

using words to fuel the crime

Hit the spot, collect the snot

we're spitting at the finish line

Thanks my friend. I get carried away every once in a while.

We all need to vent and we all need to be respected when we do. Well - that's my opinion anyway
