Insanity and I

Insanity and I

A Poem by Janesy
"

Delirious

"
Should you dwell within my palms tonight,
and realize my emotions no longer take flight,
cast me away, lift that foot.

I'll have you know that you are not to blame,
you are but a victim in love's morally twisted game,
I need you.
I need you so to feel me.

Because when a fragment of you dies, a spark in me ignites,
Earth's doors will start to invite, to my delight.
Emotions, erm.
They don't come cheap. Do they?

But don't lose sight of me now, keep me in buried memories now.
Someday, I'm sure, someday,
I will reveal myself to you,
bare skin, whole and very much true.

I hate these organs of steel.
Of machines.
And man alike.
