Enola Niaga

A Poem by JRB

Words needed to be said, even if the moment never came to be…

I saw your love

In the opportunity

Offered by your arms

As you

Reached out

 For me

To embrace

That first

With you

I saw your love

 Like a cloud

That was holding the coming rains

 Of pleasure

Bringing a refreshing

Quench to my thirst

I saw your love

The sun

Shining upon my experience

Warming the dust

Within my soul

Encouraging its growth

As no other

I saw your love

 The atmosphere

That gives breath

 To my existence

Offering it life

I saw your love

The moon

Corseting my nightly sleep

I saw your love

My love

 Having found

In you

I see

That now

More than ever

Now that I am

 By my self

Once again
