Death to a soul

Death to a soul

A Poem by JRB

Those factors of thought reflections will dominate

A loss is painful and such a waste

Leaving hurting to take its place

Nothing more than a bitter taste

Lingering in my soul as your disgrace

Absence does not make fonder, absence leaves emptiness and hopelessness and scars and .. a taste of sadness taken in the fall of too many salt tears

You write words that make me think... almost too much, but, thank you.

I guess the best we can do is to reflect on the reason for the loss of love so that we are more prepared the next time to accept it when it comes our way.
