Loving her

Loving her

A Poem by Connor Jarvis

Theres no point in running or hiding anymore
Shes has my mind heart and body
Was it worth the pain and constant sorrow?
Maybe not.
but the feeling that envelopes me when i'm with her is not a toxic or synthetic one
For her it was
Synthetic
Others become mad and ludicrous going through this
We were going through it as well
Well, she was
It was worse than others
But there I was knocking at her door
The tired and bored expression said it all
Though I was content just being in her company
Happiness even in war
I love her

Thank you both so much. That's very nice of you to say. And 'FateDictates' I must warn you. This is probably the softest thing I've ever written and there was still a sense of futility in it. Beware. Many teachers have called my short stories and other work smut, misogynistic and dirty. But I appreciate any review, even a negative one. So please, read.

This is a truly excellent piece! I thought it was written very well. I could feel all of the emotion that you stashed inside of this. It comes spilling out as you read on. I love it. Thanks for sharing, keep writing!
