glimpses of your face

glimpses of your face

A Poem by J. Araujo

Animals parade around in the nude
You are interested I know
Suspense came when Einstein hoped
Now I want to tell you about the Monroe Doctrine
fly between the two
What do I mean when I say
A strange ending
invoking God's merciful nature
degrees of obscenity, she replies
After all the pretty contrasts of life and death
