Rush

A Poem by jaylastars

Laughter

Flicker firelight

once, twice;

thrice

soaring above

the splash

diamonds sparkle, beads

of light;

winged, radiant in

sun’s embrace

neck arched

throat raw

crying out:

diving

world of

blue

endless

ice

rush.
