the kingdomA Poem by NightDream
The evening call me from my life, demanding I obey
I have the keys to the tower door and I believe I know the way
The fairy man appears from nowhere his throttle open high
He knows just where I’m going and has permission there to guide
Across the depthless chasms at the doorstep I arrive
The night’s conspiracies haunt me and I am no more alive
Lost in the grip of madness each step is thickened lead
I arrive at my destination, the kingdom of the dead
