Missing Person

Missing Person

A Poem by Nyanachi

Tiny signals resonate
Under a false self.
Crafted and carefully unnatural,
You appear to satisfy all but yourself
Oh and not me, nor anyone who sees you through.

To stand so confidently in the shadows.
When was this other you born?
Who made you think you weren't enough?
Don't bury yourself before you die.

I miss you, I need you here.
Can't you see my tears spilling from my face?
They fall out from your reconstruction.
I'm falling away to distant places.
I'm sinking into isolation.
I just wish you could love you as I do.

thank you :)
Your diction and style of writing is very captivating for the fact that you used strong, emotive words in the poem. The way you presented your writing also complements the tone and theme of the poem.
Well done.

It was my pleasure.
Very melancholy poem, rife with emotion. Nicely written and beautiful picture to convey the words. I think you mean borne instead of born, and yes, that's a tricky word to learn. :)
