Tell me my dear

Tell me my dear

A Poem by jellyvalmont

You should have told me you hear the voices too.

At the back of your mind forever doubting you.

Inside your ears with taunts and screams.

A voice that you only escape in dreams.

You should have told me dear,

You really should have let me hear.

All the words that they have said,

And I could have put those voices to bed.

Because when I’m led here in my bed,

I think of all the words I should have said.

The words I so wanted you to hear,

Because I care for you my dear.

Now I’ve learned to escape the dreams,

And to silent those distant screams.

I will always be here for you,

Because I know the pain you feel too.
