When the thought of you comes to my mind

Inspiration I can always find

I ink words of flattery and praise

I can’t help it when I see you’re face

 

Your angelic smile makes me breathless

Your seraphic voice makes me speechless

The melody In my soul I pen

A song that melts the hearts of most men

 

Deception’s not at all my intent

Look my way and I will be content

To express passion is the object

Declaring affection is the concept

 

Please assume not that I am lying

Proof of truth I offer you my rhyming

Trust me when I say you’re the prettiest

Believe in me please do not protest
