In From the Snow

In From the Snow

A Poem by Jennifer Gladen
"

A wintery children's poem for Stories for Children Magazine I wrote in 2007

"
Brrr, it's cold
So I'm told...
Nope, not going in.

Can't you see
Snowman glee?
Nope, not goin' in.

What a fright,
Snowball fight...
Nope, not goin' in.

Grabbed my sled,
Bumped my head...
Still, not goin' in.

Frozen toes,
Frozen nose...
Should I go on in?

Sniff! Cocoa?
Goodbye snow...
Yeah, I'm goin' in.

Ha! This is just what I needed on this HOT summer day! Whimsical, a child's view of a snow day... :) Love it!
