A Little Girl Started To Cry

You here a little girl crying in her sleep,

You go up to her and ask,

   What's wrong baby girl?

She looks up at me and say's ,

   Where's my mommy?

I look the other way , then look at her and say,

Your mommy pasted away , she dies, she loved you a lot,

The little girl looks up at me again.

   Where's my mommy?

I say she is in Heaven looking over you , and watching out for you.

   Then she begin's to pray.

Dear God  please make sure my mommy is ok please . Amen .

The little girl start's crying again ,

So i look at her and give her a hug and say It'll be ok hunny,

I'm here for you and your mom will always  be there for you.

     The End ..

I have lived in God's grace, I suppose. Mama still lives. Seventy years old. But her memory is slowly going. I can't imagine the sadness here. Well written.

Beautiful poem, very touching and sad! Only constructive criticism is that I noticed the line "Your mommy pasted away , she dies, she loved you a lot," you may want to look at but otherwise excellent poem :)

This was realy good. Especially how the little girl kept on asking where her mummy was, even after it had been explained. Thats what children are like. Though this is a sad poem, it wasn't over the top, and the reassuring lines at the end, showed how others step up to the mark. Thankyou.
