Hell is upon us !

another one of my poems ok tell me what you think ......

Hell is upon us !

　

Going down a dark road,

Look up,

Look down,

No one around,

No body there,

Hello,

Anyone out there,

Where am i?

Answer me!

I start to see flames of fire,

Where am i ?

I asked again!

Then a figured thing pops out at me,

“says”, Your in Hell,

Welcome to Hell,

Wait!

Stop!

Help me God,

What did i do to deserve this?

Then i saw a bright light,

It was God,

He said,” It’s not your time yet,

Go Go back home your family needs you,”

interesting...near death? dream?

there's a tense switch at line 12 from present to past, then it slides back to present, then past by the end again.

If it were all in present tense...first person view....I think it would gain some power, but, it's pretty damn cool as is.

It's an interesting view inside of you and your life.

Comment: A loving God would not think of putting people in a place of fiery torment for one day let alone eternity. Hell does, however, act as a metaphor to describe the depths of our troubled conscience and self-loathing. I am glad you end on a note of love.
