Lady Spider

Lady Spider

A Poem by jesserose99
"

little lady spider and her bite!

"

Lady spider weaves her web

her legs 8 dance in moonlight

she traps her dinner in her bed

because she'll be hungry at midnight

Much to learn from her grace

builds a home but leaves space

her web glistens with the dew

and we step on her we do

So from creature's take a leaf

if mother nature gives us grief

its' not a matter of us or them

can't we all just be good friends

unless the little witch bites you

I always stay away at midnight just in case she is hungry... ;0)

Such a sweet write. If only all creatures on earth could get along, but we know that is not the way it goes. The circle of life continues and, as such, the strong prey on the weak. The last line made me smile. Great rhyming. Lydi**

Thank you for reading Lydi, I so appreciate you taking the time!
I really like the little twist you have at the very end - it's just so real. The thoughts in the poem are those that everyone has--until it bites you! Then all bets are off! This is a good short little poem.
