Weaver

Weaver

A Poem by jesserose99

Visited your starry oblivion
woven in a night sky
listened with my heart to see again
things only reached when I stretch my mind

Your tears were the waters that pumped through my veins
your laughter the song that numbed all my pain
if I fly to you again, will you give me wings
and weave the stars my future brings

I love the imagery in this poem, and not only how you made thoughts into objects, but the thought of becoming one with another and the hope it gives.

love every bit of this ..fully packed with the "stuff" of life says i! its multi layered, universal and very personal all at once .. in just 8 lines ..i take our wonder dog Bella out for her "business around 3:30 am (when i get up) and am always drawn to visit the skies (i live in the Ozark Mountain Range) your V1 L3 absolutely blesses me .. this is the way we "see" ..i love love love that! all the personifications and your main metaphor are strong and without a hitch for me ..well done ..into me library it goes! :)

I liked the imagery of the stars. We look for inspiration beyond ourselves and the vastness of the universe gives us hope and sometimes comfort. Very nice.

A lovely tapestry of emotions here Jesse with sadness, hope, love, pain all captured in your night's skies.

sometimes we really stretch our minds in order to feel what we hope to in our hearts...

and the future is woven in those stars, but sometimes they seem so far away we can hardly see them...but when they get close enough, the light from them erases the darkness in us.

much said with few words...
