How can we be friends?

How can we be friends?

A Poem by Jessie

I am smart in many ways

You are retarded in too many ways

I eat with a fort, knife, spoon

You eat with your hands!

I curiously wounder what goes on

in that empty head

But still,

Nothing is ever said.

You are tall

and I am short..

I get A's

And you get snorts!

You like green

And I like red

You hate beans!

So I eat them instead...

I always wounder why we are friends

Then you told me

"Becuase we are TWINS!"

This is funny! I didn't expect the twins at the end. Well written

OUCH! I couldn't help but give a snigger while I read through this poem. The sacarstic humour is just too overwhelming, even as it flows on down through the end of the piece, revealing opposites between the narrator and to whom he/she's speaking to. The irony in the end is capturing.
