Heima

Heima

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.
"

I thank you for the hope you gave me I thank you for the hope...

"

Now that you are awake you can see your family and friends.
Now that you've comtosed I've lost my my words again.
I've watched my life float away from me over the Northern lights
and yet again as long as I know ,everything is alright.
mother I love the way we used to laugh and smile.
father I wish I had'nt given up and kept going on for atleast a wee while.
I'm young and know I'm checking out.
I want you to know I have no doubt.
I'm your little failure but I am happy.
I am really.
I just don't show it in a normal way.
I'll grow dusty and battered and grey.
But never never will Heima be a danger.
Home is where my heart grows stranger.
It's cause its the one place I belong.
with my mum,my dad,my brother,
My rights,my wrongs.

This is great...kind of like a journal-esque peek into a moment with you. "my rights, my wrongs" what a neat way of ending this. Yeah...I think I'm a big fan of you.

"I've lost my words again" for some reason that line really stuck out for me, maybe it's because that is a writers worst fear?
